they say a picture
is worth a thousand words
but I’d rather write them out
because I know that I can do more
with a thousand words
than what a picture brings about
a picture shows a scene
one moment
stuck in time
but with 1000 words
I create something eternal
idea’s in the form of rhyme

My body a follower

Looking at the pavement,
Staring in disamazement.
For what you just did;
Just hurt that poor kid.
Not partaking in the action
But not making a reaction;
For what you didn’t do,
Just got that poor kid screwed.
Seeing the hurt of another;
Looking just like a lil’ brother;
For what you could have done;
Perhaps that kid could have won.
Standing on the sidelines,
Bound by your own guidelines.
For what you are now doing,
Isn’t helping, rather, dooming.
Not getting involved
Has been your resolve.
But seeing this today,
Has now become your pay.
The price you’ve paid is great;
‘Tis filled your soul with hate.
It is what you needed to do;
In becoming a man born anew.
Looking at the pavement
Starin in amazement.
Reforms are now in your life,
Ending your once eternal strife.
My birthday wish failed,
Santa left me giftless cause
I’m not yet with you
haikus are easy
but sometimes they don’t make sense
